Originally from rural Kent, I moved to Yorkshire after university in 2012 – first Leeds, then York and now Yarm where I live in a busy home with my husband, two young children, two dogs and two cats.
I balance my work in marketing with my passion for painting, completing private commissions and exhibiting locally.
My interests are varied and often experimental in terms of style. A common thread throughout my work is the vibrancy of my use of colour.
As well as more local landscapes, in many of my paintings I seek to capture some of the beautiful places I have visited on my travels. During the pandemic and lockdown, I naturally turned to still life work – which is still something I enjoy doing.
I am also an animal lover – in particular you will note my long-held fondness of elephants! I also paint pet commissions on request, you’ll see a number of dogs in my portfolio.
I hope you enjoy looking at my website – if you are interested in any of my work, or just want to find out more – please do not hesitate to get in touch.
